950 is where I idle all the DeLoreans I normally work with. Oil pressure is
better, amps from the alternator is better and it's just that much further
out of the hold when you take off from a light.

Getting better, but 950 RPM is still too high.
Section D:4:1 says the idle is supposed to be 775 +/- 50 RPM.  You are  on 
the right track, but there is probably still some air leaks.
