RE: [DML] Problem in first gear.

Adam,
You said you just had the clutch ( rebuilt)? What do you mean about rebuilt?
Did you see the new clutch kit parts and was the fork clip ok that they put
back in the car? I had one new mechanic in Arizona that broke the clip not
knowing to lift up to remove the fork. I also know of another DeLorean
vendor that sent a fork to someone to install with no clip. You have to see
the parts and make sure about them and ask questions if your not sure.
That's the way the last customer caught the bad fork from the other vendor.

Does the car feel like the disk/clutch is slipping? Did they put in a new
pilot bearing? We put that in our kits. If it's worn or not turning properly
then transmission may feel that way.
With a new clutch kit installed you should not feel any slipping when you
let out on the petal. It would be a positive connection. Then after a few
thousand miles the pedal would become a little softer. No jumping around or
feeling the way you state.
