Re: [DML] Re: Where are the 397 missing first production Deloreans ??

Hello... I'm trying to understand your question and the purpose of it, but
I feel confused. My car is vin 0893 and it was on the first boatload of
Deloreans to come to the US. The original owner, whom I bought the car off of
had a letter from John D attesting to that fact. If you go to the vin list on
the internet you will see where the various VIN's are at.

Well to partly answer my own question,as i read along in SSI on page
93 it clearly SHOWS Vin 910.M (manual) coming off the FIRST load of
Shipped Deloreans coming off the boat, according to SSI quote:the
first Deloreans shipped to the US by boat are unloaded in Long Beach
California. With a pic of 910 clearly shown, which was if going by vin
897 being the first one being unloaded the 13th car off the boat
which is vin 910 as pictured. So that means anything before vin 897
was not a shippable car or a nonsellable car. So were vins 500
through vins 896 those Black shells(made whole) since it equals about
the same amount of preproduction black shells produced
