    It has been my experience that rental companies are  more interested in 
the hitch set up rather than what you are hauling.  I  would strongly suggest 
renting an Aluminum car trailer as they are much lighter  than the normal steel 
ones.  The lighter the load the easier the tow.   A Tow Dolly would work 
well, but you will expose the D to road salt, etc.  
    The most important factor is good brakes, etc.

flat bed car hauler. I'm not sure what company (U-Haul etc...)  would 
have one that is ok for our cars. I've heard that some companies  will 
decline renting you one if you tell them it's a DeLorean....
