[DML] Re: Trailing arm shield bracket kit?



Royce,

They install from the inside of the car. You would most likely have to
drill or grind out the old studs/anchors. To access the passenger's
side you would have to move the battery out of it's' compartment to
expose the stock anchors. On the driver's side you will have to lift
up the storage compartment carpet to expose the anchors there. The
bracket kit anchors the anchors all to one strip rather than the
individual anchors used, which have a tendency to break loose and just
spin when you try to remove the nuts securing the trailing arm dust
shields. If you look at the under side of the car where the dust
shields meet the body you will see 3 nuts on each shield securing it
to the car. I've installed a few of these and they are great.
