RE: [DML] Fan Fail melting

I have been running the Fan Fail Dual 2x2 for nearly 3 1/2 years with
absolutely no problem.

This is an interesting post. A couple of years ago I had a Fan Fail
2x2 installed. It also melted one fuse completely and melted some of
the surrounding wire on the Fan Fail 2x2. This may not be a Fan Fail
problem as much as a problem with the high current, and the closed
area. I suppose however that stouter wires might resolve some of the
heat issue, and the Fan Fail should be designed to handle this. One
might consider providing some ventilation in the fuse area. The
other good advice is to put some new lower current fans. I did this
for one of my Deloreans, and I must say they are very quiet, and draw
much less current.
