[DML] Re: how long will battery last w/ no alternator



An hour is probably max. Between the fuel pump and engine controls 
you will draw about 12-15 amps with no brake lights, etc. When the 
volts get to about 9 the engine will begin to lose spark and miss 
under load. You can probably get another 1\2 hour if you by-passed 
the coil resistor when the volts begin to get low.

I wouldn't try it myself.
