RE: [DML] Re: EFI? Megasquirt?

Richard, From what I have heard the Mega Squirt system may only increase the
gas mileage by one or 2 MPG. Keep in mine the 02 sensor working properly
with the air flow metering adjusted properly will do almost the same 14.5 to
one fuel to air. The difference is that the lap top you can lean it out easy
and save more money on gas but you may need to know when leaning is too
much. Any way I want to work with some that will develop the system, I will
have parts made and buy what ever to make up a kit.
Keep on working on it and give me a call.

I must disagree with you on some points. I agree about the setup and
service which is why I have been developing a bolt on kit and I am trying to
work with the DeLorean vendors to have them as the distributors. However,
the prime benefits will be improved starting in all conditions and cold
running. Also, I am expecting a good performance increase (due to removal
of the K-jet airflow plate) and increased gas mileage. It is planned to be
a 100% bolt on with no holes drilled. I have over a year in development and
I am close to a final product. Don't get me wrong... the k-jet was very
good for it's time and a system in good working order or nearly good working
order should probably be kept.
