[DML] Re: Delorean Choice of PRV

Just like to add my own 2c (or 2p) as i'm in the UK!!

Having recently upgraded my engine to an UK stage 2, the 'stock' PRV
can be greatly improved upon. As has been done by a DeLorean expert
in the UK severel times. Indeed my car still looks stock, but I have
fitted higher compression pistons from a Volvo 260 engine, High lift
cams and fuelling from the 260. The car still looks virtually
identical, other than a couple of fuel pipes missing and some vacume
pipes. BUT it makes a huge difference to the car, power is greatly
improved and pulls much better at lower revs. We do have an advantage
in that our emmissions are not as stringent as the US though.
As for literature I have just purchased a CD off information from a
UK seller (deloreanuk) on ebay. This is one of the best bits of info
I have seen on the DeLorean car, It's sold as an equivelent of a
Haynes manual and it really is worth the £5.00 it costs. (Would just
like to add this is nothing to to with me BTW :-)) Just information
that may be of help.
