For those who don't know... Claude (CBL) is a former DeLorean owner who seems to stay on the DML for ever and ever.
 
However, he is essential right about trying to profit from selling a  
collector car. If you buy a collector car... any collector car... thinking  you'll 
fix it up and make a pile of money, you're going to be disappointed.  Unless you 
are an expert mechanic, and do your own labor and count yourself to  have 
done it for free... maybe then.  Likewise, paying top dollar for a  perfect car 
doesn't mean you can flip it like a condo in a hot market. 
 
It's a HOBBY, not an investment. A hobby you can ride around in a have a  
great time with.
