DMCH is neither the same entitiy as DMC, nor descended from it.  That is
neither opinion nor bias, it is simple fact.

It is my opinion (gathered from observation) that DMCH would dearly love for
everyone to forget that fact.  Their business practices have fallen under
scrutiny in the past, especially in how they have chosen to behave in public
forums.  Marc chooses to be a constant voice in the wilderness, trying to
keep people honest and the lines clear.  Thanks Marc.

Now, the question is, when DMCH starts manfacturing their own cars that they
will undoubtedly call a DeLorean, how will we keep everyone straight?  But I
guess that's a topic for another thread.
