[DML] Re: Where is the other end of the negative battery cable connected?

Nick,

Oh good. A non-technical question I can answer since I loosened the bolt at the negative
ground connection and cleaned it with my Dremel tool and some stainless steel brushes.

Look at page 3,1,0 in the Parts Manual. It not a great picture but it shows the ground
connection to the frame is located at the passenger side of the frame-where the trailing
arm is connected to the frame via the trailing arm bolt. The ground cable is connected to
one of the two small bolts that holds a metal plate to the frame. The trailing arm bolt
goes through the trailing arm then through this metal plate.

Do Not try and remove all of the bolts when the passenger side wheel is hanging free in
the air. The trailing arm is putting pressure on the metal plate where the ground
connection is. Just loosen the ground connection bolt enough to get in there and properly
clean it.
