[DML] Re: DeLoreans in music video

Hi Royce,

The video was filmed in Birmingham, England. A few miles down the road was the GKN plant where the DeLorean frames were built and the alloy wheels were cast before being sent to the DeLorean factory in Belfast. As you may know, if you take an alloy wheel off off the car you’ll see the GKN logo cast on the inside or the rim.

A few years ago some members of the DeLorean Owners Club UK were invited by GKN to join their 150 year anniversary celebrations which included a car show featuring every car they had been involved with over the years. It was a good feeling to display a few DeLoreans at the event and remind everyone of the car’s relationship with such a prestigious engineering firm. If I remember correctly we had a Left Hand Drive grey interior 5-speed, a Left Hand Drive black interior 5-speed, and one of the original RHD cars which was a grey interior automatic.
