Re: [DML] The dreaded question, NO FLAMES PLEASE...

Ya know, Marc, I didn't expect any particular kind of answer from the
Delorean group. The very few people that own one that I've been able
to talk to have been very open and honest about Delorean ownership.
They tell me what to watch out for, where to get parts, generally
very glad to share information about the car. The devoted following
is one of the reasons I am considering ownership - there must be
something there for the cars to last so long and have third-party
companies willing to maintain and manufacture parts for the vehicle.
Your answer was very helpful - it, along with the other posts, made
me realize I want a UNIQUE car, not another cookie-cutter Benz or
Toyota. I know not to drive it in ice & snow, but I wouldn't do that
in a Boxster, either. I've bought nothing but family vehicles for 22
years; mini-vans, sedans, SUVs, cars so dented I don't care if I
leave them in an airport for a month (and I did!). I would like a car
for ME, and just one other person, highly impractical for a family
man if you know what I mean. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
