RE: [DML] Torsion bar update

I would be interested in ordering one up if they were successful in the
production and Im sure others would too. Obviously price dependant.

It may help to bring the overall price down if he knew subsequent orders
would follow.

Subject: [DML] Torsion bar update

I had an appointment with the welder who is going to repair my torsion
bar. He is a metal/engineer/-welder. He showed me his welding equipment
and it is ultra sophisticated. He does work for NASA. He said the
repair is not a problem but he wants as much information about the
torsion bar as possible. The type of metal, and the process it went
through in it's production, heat treatments that type of stuff. He
examined the fracture and the metal and he thinks he knows what it is
but likes more information. The information is also important because
he said with the proper information he can treat the metal and make me
a new torsion bar that will work. If I can get that information I will
pay him to make the bar and try it on my car.
He showed me some of his work. Two-quarter inch pieces of metal the
thickness of tin foil with perfect welds on all sides, I think I have
found the best welder for the job.
This is an opportunity to address the torsion bar issue so any
information will really help. My email is HYPERLINK
