[DML] Re: Windshield Film Driving Me Nuts

Same problem on my car too. I had an NOS dashboard installed to
replace my cracked on. The first couple of years it was ok. But later
on I started to have the same problem as you.

Just a quick side question, how is your coolant level? It's possible
it *might* be a pinhole leak in the heater core, and the greasy-goop
on the glass is glycol. It looks like that was most likely the problem
on my car.

dashboard upholstery due to exposure of UV from the sun. (The dash was
re-upholstered nearly five years ago) It seems to happen mostly on hot
summer days and the windows always look dirty. Our front windshields
are not the easiest to clean but I find myself having to do this nasty
job at least twice a week all summer. Is anyone aware of any product
that I can put on my windshield or dashboard to prevent this film from
forming? Anyone else having this problem? Thanks!
