[DML] Re: Dominos Delorean

What you are referring to is called "Provinence". In it's many
different forms it can add to the value of an object. The market (you
and I, the buyers) make the final determination of the value it can
add, not the seller. I agree that it looked bad but someone may
disagree with you and decide to pay more than what an "ordinary"
Delorean in that condition is worth. In the meantime if you are
serious and do not actually require a "special" Delorean, keep looking
for another. BTW $12,000 for a good running Delorean is not too much.
Anyway, be aware of the $25,000 "Rule-Of-Thumb". You will spend approx
$25,000 when you add up the total cost of aquisition and repairs. You
need to have more than just what you figure it will cost to buy the
car, you MUST budget for repairs and maintainence. Don't forget all of
the "hidden" costs of ownership which include the cost to title,
register, insure, transport, tax, and store the car. Depending on the
State you live in they can be considerable, especially the tax!
