Re: [DML] Re: REDUCED PRICE: 1983 DeLorean $15,000 OBO

I wasn't trying to belittle anyone either. I was simply pointing out that the pics in the main post are blurry, and the car needs potentially thousands of dollars to become fully functional (A/C, lights, hand brake, etc).

What I meant was that you have to make a great presentation to people who are browsing in order for you to get them to email you about the car. I bet a dozen potential buyers looked and decided it wasn't even worth it to go to the next stage and ask any questions because the main headline page has three blurry pics on it.

FWIW, you have to REMOVE the engine from car in order to fix the rear main seal (which wasn't mentioned until Mark brought it up). The frame repair was also not mentioned. These are serious issues.

Hey I am not trying to belittle you in anyway at all.

I pointed out a very well known and very time consuming part on the
engine that is a pain to fix to help any potential buyer of this car
on this list.

Rear main seals are a pain to fix if you are not mechanically
inclined. If you dont know what you are doing this can cost lots of
money to repair. If you know what you are doing and have the tools
and time it is still a PITA to do.

You came to a Delorean newsgroup for help, I am here to help any
buyer and point out any serious issue I can find on this car.

If I see any more major issues in your pictures I will point them out
to this list to let potential buyers know what they are getting into.
