RE: [DML] Oil pressure sender - always says 80 psi

Paul, It's defective. Depending on the oil you are using it may run 70-80 at
high idle 1st starting out, but normally running 20/40 oil it should read
around 70 high and 30 hot idle low rpm.

Subject: [DML] Oil pressure sender - always says 80 psi

Question about oil pressure sender. My oil pressure gauge always
reads just under 80 psi the instant I start the car. Is this correct?
Just want to make sure, as I hear there are possible issues with
incorrect senders that display the wrong pressure.

Thanks,

Paul
