RE: [DML] Re: Newbie to DeLoreans

John, I just got 25 new radiators in today. Don't forget the 10% discount
under my DRP program on the web site. $1,000.00 initial order get's you 10%
off on everything I sell for the next year. Sounds like you can make it real
easy. There may be 1 or 2 things I can't.

I can vouch for that, I purchased my D for about $9,500 and have put
approximately 4K into her since 2004. (Just to make it "driveable")
The fuel system, vacuum hoses, and standard tune up stuff such as
belts, cap, rotor, plugs, brake pads, etc were what my first
priorities were. I'm still looking at a new radiator -NON new old
stock-, fans, possibly and alternator and relay upgrade, and some
major suspension work. The brakes feel ever-so-slightly "squishy" but
they are functional. I might look into replacing the master cylinder
sometime. Dunno how old that one is. Once I reach about $20K I think
she should be in much better shape. I'm no mechanic myself, so my
friends who own a D as well as these boards are a huge help.

Some of the really important/common sense things off the top of my
head would be trailing arm bolts, fuel lines, fuel accumulator and/or
pump, and brakes.

My advice would be shop around and talk to the vendors and the owners!
They are a great bunch.
