called the baby Northstar. I think stock out of the box it is 225 HP and you
can probably tweek that up with a power chip - Dennis?.snip?

I have heard the V6 version referred to as the ?Shortstar? which I think is
more amusing and better fitting (pun intended).

Back to the Northstar, as it is a 32V V8 it is heavier than many other V8?s
which upsets the 68% rear bias of the DeLorean even more.  Sure, the
Northstar will sound gorgeous, listen to this: HYPERLINK

handling for all that power and sound.  This one even mentions the infamous

So much development has taken place in the years post DeLorean that you can
now upgrade the DeLorean to the 3.0L V6 12V turbo with EFi as discussed in
other posts without added too much weight.
