[DML] Re: More heat than light

Moderators... have all the rejected posts over the years been kept in
a vault somewhere? This would have to be amazing stuff to look over
after all these years. Maybe you could publish a book... "dmcnews...
The REJECTS" and use the proceeds to fund the website.

Ron - not that I'm aware of. Yahoo doesn't seem
to keep copies anywhere, and the only record is
an audit log that indicates the time and date
that the post was rejected, deleted, or approved.
The log doesn't even keep subject line or the
email address of the poster, just a message number.

We don't reject very many posts as a rule. Most times
the posts are rewritten, resubmitted and approved.
Sometimes we even go a couple of weeks without having
to reject a submission. Other times, we need to be
a little heavy-handed to get the forum back onto
the car, the man and the company.

I'm sure people would find some of the rejections
interesting, some embarrasing given hindsight, and some
downright disturbing, but overall I'd have to say
they are better off in the bitbucket.
