My reservation at Red Rock was cancelled due to the cancellation of 
Delorean Owners Associations room block. 
My dad was a member of the DeLorean Owners Association from 1983. 
The DOA has always been there for my dad when no other Delorean 
related mail service was available. Today we have all sorts of clubs 
and Vendors such as DeLorean Motor Company that have stepped 
everything up big notches. DeLorean Car Show success is an example 
of how the web site has changed things. Better communication, advice 
and parts for all. I hope more DeLorean Owners will find value in 
DOA. I appreciate the loyalty this club has had over the years. I 
also enjoy viewing their articles in DeLorean World. 

I was able to re-reserve my room at a higher rate (of course); but 
would still like to meet DeLorean Owners in the area. Let me know if 
the Vegas group is getting together for some beers that weekend. I 
will be there.

Tony Hilger personally called me this evening just as I completed 
this article. That is why I know it is postponed. Tony will be e-
mailing a post soon; he is calling everyone that purchased tickets 
providing full refunds and help with the airlines if necassary due 
to the event being cancelled. 
I feel bad that this event is not happening, no wonder Proto is 
being sold prior to the event and 502. Now who knows when we'll ever 
see these cars again.
Hopefully we'll have more participation and volunteers next year to 
support DOA.
