[DML] Re: Yet another Idle question

Thanks for all of the responses! I will take all of these suggestions
and do a little more troubleshooting.

To answer a few questions:

Yes, it was idling fine consistently prior to the tune-up I did back in
February of last year. I cleaned up the valley, POR-15'ed it, and
replaced rotor, dist cap, plugs, plug wires, coil, belts, cleaned
injectors, fuel filter, main fuel line, and maybe some other things I
forgot about since that time.

Since then, it started idling very high after it warmed up, but not
always. Sometimes when I come to a stoplight after driving its around
800rpm, but most of the time its 1500+. It seems like its gradually
getting worse.

My brass idle mixture screws have their heads snapped off. I have new
ones but since I don't think they are leaking, I wasn't going to
replace them yet. I have taken the throttle linkage apart and put it
back together at least three times. I had Dave Swingle take a look at
the throttle micro switch during the Pittsburgh Tech Session, it seemed
to be a little sketchy then - like sometimes after revving the engine
it would return to 800rpm, other times it would not. I will look at
that a little more closely also, and also the idle speed motor.

Thanks again for all of the suggestions!
