Steve, The fir trees are made to screw out of the panels. You don't have to
cut the boards. If you have some boards that are frayed or the holes gotten
larger over time I have original new ones and also some that are a little
larger heads as to hold better.

How do you replace the fir trees?  Do you have to slice open the vinyl on
the trim?
