I respect Dave's opinion and he may have alot more facts about your 
situation - but, are you ABSOLUTELY SURE your battery is fully 
charged??? I have seen my share of batteries that would activate the 
solenoid and not the starter. Do the headlights stay bright when you 
turn the key to start or do they go dim or out? They stay on = 
probably a bad solenoid. They go out or dim = probably the battery or 
a ground connection faulty.
