[DML] Re:Starting problem?

I had a similar problem last November when I finally
got the automatic tranny governor fixed. Try removing
the shelf above the relay compartment behind the
passenger seat and listening for a clicking sound when
you turn the ignition to start. This clicking should
be your start inhibit relay throwing to allow power to
the starter. If you are hearing a clicking sound, try
checking the wiring to the starter as others have
suggested.

I would also recommend tapping the main housing of the
starter and of the solenoid with a hammer. Sometimes,
if the starter is old, it can get stuck and not "spin
up." Tapping it will loosen it up and then you can
trying turning the engine over again. of course, this
could be a sign that your starter is about to fail so
you may want to think about having it looked
at/replaced even if you manage to get it working after
tapping it.

If you hear no clicking sound then you may have a
problem with a bad star-inhibit relay. try replacing
it and see if you hear a clicking then. If not, you
may have a wiring problem.

my 2 cents.
