RE: [DML] re brushing panels

Nick, make sure the blending pad is 60 grit. If not you may wind up taking
grain out instead of putting it in. The brown pads I have are that and do a
good job for a small fix. I also have a sponge type pad with 60 grit that
does a good job. How much do you have to do? If it's a lot I have a flapper
wheel with 60 grit I sell.

Subject: [DML] re brushing panels

Hi,

I know this is something that has been discussed alot and i have
searched the internet and the archives but i cant find a step by step
guide for re graining which i am sure i have seen somewhere before.

Can anyone give me a run down on the process and grades of sandpaper
etc. I have bought a blending pad from Huston some time ago, so i
already have one of them.

The grain is in OK condition at the moment but i would like to get it
back to new. I have the bumpers off so i presume that will make it
alittle easier and i am aware of the 'X' problem with pressing on on
the bonnet....

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Nick
