I just had my seats out last week to recover tehm.  You can open them up
almost completely flat and put them one ontop of the other.  Still a big box
to ship, but not as complex as disassembing them.

One way to make it easier to ship would be to disassemble the seats removing
the backs from the bottoms and the slides from the bottoms.
The box would then be much smaller. Probably better to ship in 2 or more
boxes so they aren't too big or heavy.
