RE: [DML] Buying Deloreans Postcard

Actually, I recently learned that there is a way to get a list of people who
have cars that are registered and on the road. I don't know all the
details behind how it works but I apparently car dealerships (or certain
people in the automobile business) have access to Department of Motor
Vehicle records for cars that are registered. If you know the right
person, for a small sum of money they can run the search and generate a list
for you.
Lets face it, your personal information is never as "private" as you think
it might be. :(
Stranger part is "Who" is the mysterious person willing to do all of this,
and "why"? I have not received any offer post card to date. Is there any
information (not asking for it to be posted on the DML) about who the person
is, or how to contact them? has anyone done so yet?

Yes, I received one as well.

I'd really like to know how this bulk mail marketer got my personal,
unlisted, home mailing address.

My guess is that DMCH (or some other vendor or magazine) has started
selling their customer lists.
