Re: [DML] turn signals flash fast...why



I had one of the turn signal bulb sockets rusted and it was shorting out, made that light blink fast.  Cleaned the socket out, and it fixed the problem.

If all the lights are working then having the wrong type bulb in one of the sockets will cause this.. I know from experience. If you have one side of blinkers working then compare the working side bulbs, both front and back with the front and back bulbs of the rapid flashing side. Do not get the blubs mixed up. Look closely at the filament inside to make sure all bulbs are flasher bulbs.
