Glad to hear yours arrived untouched.  My fan assembly did not originally come with those foam strips, but John sent them out immediately once I called him.
  I have nothing but praise for the fans.  They really make a great addition to the cooling system.

Thanks for the heads up, but the Fan package I got from 
John was fool proof to install. Just can't see anyway the bolts 
would tear or wear a hole in the radiator core. The package even 
came with foam strips to keep the two metal frames from rubbing, 
nice touch John. The unit is sitting down at Columbus at Dave's 
shop. I will take some .jpg's before I mount the unit packge on the 
new frame.
Also the frame pictures I posted were of the frame I 
picked up in Long Island from PJ Grady's place. The original is far 
worse than I ever thought possible. The Driver's rear Shock tower is 
rotted 100%, I will take some more pictures after the engine is out. 
The only thing left is to pull the engine/transmission on Wednesday 
and start the reverse process.
I got 8 hours in today not counting the long trip down 
(2 hrs.) and the really long trip back after working 8 hours on the 
tear down. I had some free help today from a young lady by the name 
of Norma who has an 81 Delorean. It was a good day.
