RE: [DML] How hard is an a/c accumulator to replace?

Derek,

Besides taking the front wheel off, remove the spacesaver wheel from the
trunk and the access panel. You will two attack points. If it is the
original unit you may need penetrating oil to make the job easier. The
crucial bit is when mounting the new unit ensure that the threads absolutely
line up so that you don't strip the thread as you re-tighten the nuts.

Change your orifice tube whilst you are at it too (slides in the pipe to the
evaporator core)!!!

Subject: [DML] How hard is an a/c accumulator to replace?

I have a slow A/C leak that seems to go through a can of Freeze 12 every few
months......... My question is, how hard is it to
replace the accumulator once the A/C is evacuated? Is it hard to get it up
an in where its located? Any tips or tricks? Thanks.
