It is also so close to my first DeLorean 6298 and my current car 6149.
>From what I know the car was flooded to above the dashboard and then sat 
untouched for a long time... something like a year. Right now it is so badly 
rusted that the new owner (my friend) said that it is simply impossible to 
remove any fasteners, spark plugs have fused to the engine, and all switches 
simply fell apart. The interior is pretty much not existent. The glass and 
stainless pieces are simply perfect. From his description the panels did not 
suffer any damage from the salt and look brand new.
What can we do... we can just try to take the best care of our cars so they 
last as long as possible
