RE: [DML] Northstar Conversion.

If it's the same person, I talked to him and the shop this week and the
trans input shaft is shot. They are looking for one, second one.
I have the name and number if you have an extra.

Subject: [DML] Northstar Conversion.

The advertised price was 20K, but after speaking to
him a bit at the Memphis DCS show, it seemed like he
would do it for less if he had a serious customer. As
of then, he had not done any other DMC conversions and
that car was for sale.

I looked him up a year or so after Memphis, but his
shop seemed to be out of business. He was popular
with the Fiero folks, doing engine conversions on

He was not giving rides, but the install was clean and
TIGHT. It looked like a car I would not want to work

I was thinking about this car the other day, wondering
when it would "show up" again.
