Re: [DML] Intercooler

Well, yeah...

Assuming a perfect system (HA!)

Engine is 2849cc 4-stroke, meaning it draws half its capacity every
revolution

So 5000 x 2849 x 0.5 / 1000 = 7122.5 l/min

(which according to www.onlineconversion.com)

= 251.5 cf/min

Now that's at a pressure of 1 bar (atmosphere) and you are talking about
7psi (14.7psi = 1bar) = 0.48bar of boost

so that's 1.48 x 251 = 371 cfm at 7psi of boost (and what fantastic
swapping of units I must admit!)

- I'm not sure I'm right about the flow under boost but it seems to
makes sense to me!

I'd go bigger because the PRV can safely be revved to 6500rpm if the
breathing's good.
