Mike & Corey,

Eleven hundred bucks is more like what a "Picture Car" company would charge
a movie studio on a major picture shoot. This sounds more like a "starving
artist launch's first album with help from sympathetic DeLorean owner" type
of situation. I don't know your marital status but if you're not hitched
perhaps a compensatory date with said artist would be more likely at this
point in her fledgling career!

Spoke to a "Picture Car" company up here in Toronto, Canada.
   
  He would charge $1,100.00 per shoot day for a Delorean.
   
  Still photos are another matter and would obviously depend upon whether
this was an independent band or one from a label. My guess is an independent
if "Melissa" left the note on your car.
   
  Who knows.. maybe it wasn't the car Melissa was interested in.  :>)
