Unless the motor is full of junk and the coolant comes out brown with
rust you can flush it without removing the plugs. You may want to
remove the thermostat to do a thourgh job. If you want to do a good
job you might consider removing the hoses on the pipes under the car.
That way you can flush the motor independantly of the radiator and do
the radiator separately. You should also flush the heater core. Flush
until the water runs clear. After flushing, drain as much of the water
as you can. Reconnect the hoses and fill with 50/50 water and
anti-freeze into the expansion bottle. Pressurize with a coolant
tester and bleed through the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing
and the small bleeder hose on the top right side of the radiator.
Don't allow the tank to empty or you will have to start over. When you
finish up the tank should be between 1/3 to 1/2 full. Before doing all
of this you should replace all the hoses and fix any leaks. Look at
the radiator through the shroud and fans. If you see any green then
the radiator should be replaced.
