If the previous owner took good care of their car then they should  be a good 
source of accurate and helpful information about it's previous  life.  Case 
in point 06530 was previously owned by Dick Ryan.  I  tracked him down and he 
has been able to provide me with not only a verbal  history of the car but also 
documentation on paper of the work previously  done.  Not to mention he was 
very benevolent in passing on the original  window sticker.
