If you really want to see a preproduction car that inspired the
Delorean look up a picture of the Lamborghini Marzal. It was the
precursor to the Espada. It probably inspired Giorgio, the Marzal has
gull wing doors, a sloping front hood, a rear sunshade, and the lines
of the Delorean. Designed by Gandini it was supposed to have a front
engine V-12!
