Hello

You are correct when you are talking about the speedometer. This part is 
driven by the rotating magnets. I was refering to the odometer which is a 
direct drive system. Isn't it? It's been a long time since I've seen a 
DeLorean speedo inside.... Correct me if I'm wrong.
