The story I heard about 501 was the owner was unable
to get it to run properly so the turbo was removed. 
The engine configuration was restored to "stock" (The
internals of the single turbo engine were not changed
as they were in the twin turbo).

Later, the car was somehow damaged (fire?) and junked.

I don't remember who told me this story, it was so
many years ago.  It could be 100% false, but it is the
only thing I have ever heard about the other Legend
car (and I always assumed it was 501).
