[DML] Re: Exhaust smell any ideas?

Hi Dan,
I had a similar problem with a strong gasoline smell in my car last
year. I was also getting bad gas mileage. I found that my fuel lines
going from the pump were actually bad and leaking gas. So I ended up
replacing mine. For some odd reason the mechanic said there was a
piece of plastic floating in my fuel tank...? But I've had no fuel
problems since.
