Re: [DML] Re: DeLorean radar detectors



Even the instant on radar is detectable. You usually get an alert when they 
are clocking the vehicles ahead of you. I have been on both sides of the 
radar gun and can tell you that both the radar and the detector are only as 
good as the operator. I have the 8500 X50 on a windshield mount right under 
the rear view mirror. I have the X Band turned off (Not used in Florida) and 
rarely get any false alarms. But when it goes off I have miles of warning.
