Either way, replace the Ducy..  

It is possible your battery is not being charged
enough by it, and with the starter pulling all of the
power from the batter, the voltage may be too low for
good spark.

I just replaced my Ducy 80 with a Delco 180...  The
car runs much better due to higer voltage for the
ignition coil.

Worse yet, if you run the starter under low voltage
you can cause damage to it.
