[DML] Re: Orifice Tube

I have had success with repair kits for the orifice tube.

This is what they look like. I don't remember the tube sizes. The
ones I used were GM CCOT types that were the same size as the
DeLorean fittings.

The hardest issue is cutting the old orifice tube receiver off the
evaporator - it takes a tube cutter that is in good condition to do
the job right. I've done three; two worked beautifully, the other
one had just too much damage to the evaporator tube (dented) to hold
a seal.

This might be worth trying before removing the evaporator. You will
know if the seal is going to hold when you put the vacuum to it.

bright idea to drill up the middle and pull it out but went a little too far and drilled into and through the evaporator pipe.
