Re: [DML] Re: Interior trim Panels IMP?



We are installing the wings a loft system in Tiffs car.

I noticed that three of her door panels are injection molded plastic 
NOT cardboard.   It is a sept 81 car.

These injection molded door panels had no provision for the strap that 
was added in 83.

Are these from a very early car?   They are certainly more sturdy than 
the cardboard panels.

Anyone know why they changed to cardboard  -  after all of the tooling 
cost for the injection molded panels?
