The car sold today for $35,000.  The auction house had it listed with an
estimate of $55,000 to $85,000.  Far below than what was expected.  My best
guess is that the car is in poor shape, but that alone doesn't prove if it's
a Barris replica, or a screen used car.  The Part III car from Universal
is/was in pretty awful shape as well.  It's really difficult to tell what we
have here, without seeing photos of this particular DeLorean.  If the new
owner is on the list, or part of the DeLorean community, we'd love to hear
from you.
