[DML] Re: Replacing Front Speakers

I replaced the fronts with Sony 3.5"s .. seeing that small of speaker
will not deliver much bass (have 6x9"s in back wall and a sub) thus I
utilize a simple stack of washers glued together. Works great and a
simple fix.

experience creating a ring (like a gasket) to go around the speaker
so that it would stay flush with the dash like the original? There
must be a simple solution to this but as usual the obvious answer
always seems to elude me!
