That's not an unusual price for SSI prior to the 
reprinting by DMCH.  As I recall, prices were
averaging in the $250 range for former library 
copies.  This is nothing compared to the fine
arts.  Of course, once an artist dies, the body
of work is set - there won't be any more 
created by that artist.
